Carolina beat Dook at Cameron on Saturday night, bringing another student-crowding, bonfire-building moment to Franklin Street. It was a great game, but in an upset, the good guys won and thus order is restored to the universe.
It's hard to understand, until you actually live here for a while, just what kind of depth the Carolina-Dook rivalry has over this state. I thought the KSU-KU rivalry was pretty good when I was going to school in Manhattan, but it is nothing compared to this place.
