Mellow with Age

Hi. I just spent the last week or so back home in Colorado Springs, not only to get away from the evil heat out here in the southeast, but to attend my 25th high school reunion. It was a good time. And what impressed me more than anything, is that people really do grow up. It was such a cool event. Everyone was genuinely happy to see each other and were nice, kind, and civil. None of the petty bullshit that happened in school, none of the clicques and visciousness. It was, well, fun. I came away with some renewed friendships and a new crush, which at my age, is a nice feeling.
